This full time agent position exclusively handles complex international air, hotel and car itineraries for corporate and VIP clients. The position also includes additional responsibilities including oversight of international air contracts, QA and ticketing of international PNR’s. This position will have some minimum training responsibilities. Qualified applicants will be required to demonstrate expertise in confirming and pricing complex international travel arrangements. Position requires the applicant to have a minimum of 2 years experience as a travel consultant providing international air, car and hotel arrangements for corporate travelers. Applicants not able to provide prior corporate travel agent experience will not be considered. Apollo GDS skills are preferred. Applicant is expected to be familiar with overall travel industry practices and procedures. Position will report to department manager.

Skill Requirements

• Apollo experience, preferred
• 2 years of travel agent experience, working directly with corporate travelers
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
• High proficiency in keyboard typing skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math skills
• Basic business writing skills, writes clearly and informatively
• Demonstrates strong problem solving skills; gathers and analyzes information in a timely manner
• Ability to prioritize work responsibilities to meet customer service commitments
• Understanding of basic world geography
