Agency ranks #7 among region's leading revenue producersPORTLAND, OREGON (August 21, 2003) - Azumano Travel, an independently owned American Express Travel Services Representative headquartered in Portland, Oregon, has been identified by TravelAge West magazine as #7 among the region's leading revenue producers, it was announced today by Azumano president and CEO Sho Dozono. Agencies in the 14 states where the magazine circulates were evaluated for outstanding revenue results and successful business strategies. Various sources were used to identify the agencies highlighted in the magazines's August 11 issue including recommendations from agency associations such as the American Society of Travel Agents, the Institute of Certified Travel Agents and the Outside Sales Support Network. Large agency groups and companies, including the Automobile Association of America (AAA), American Express, Carlson Wagonlit and Virtuoso, were also invited to make recommendations. In addition, TravelAge West readers were asked for their suggestions.
