About Howard Lewis:
I started my career in travel in 1973 as a TWA flight attendant based in New York. Living in New York for 11 years was the experience of my life. I explored every corner, restaurant, Broadway show, museum, and the city's back yard, Central Park. I loved it. In the on and off course of 16 years, I visited so many parts of our world. My taste for travel grew over the years and it was a seamless transition when I ended my career with TWA and started my new life with Azumano in 1989. I'm a stickler for detail and the " what if " factor. Travel can't be approached any other way. It's so important to put yourself in your client's shoes. Navigating around a country or place you've never been before has it's anxiety. Let me help you through it. Chances are, I've been there. Howard Lewis's Blog Posts
Why Should I Use a Travel Agent
January 12, 2011
Through the years I have been asked " what are the benefits of using a travel agent? ". My response includes the quality of service we provide, building unique and complex itineraries and always acting as your virtual valet and advocate. I recently had a situation develop around all this crazy weather occurring here in the states and abroad. A client was over in Hungary and...

With most accessible destinations being somewhat over developed, it's hard to find an place where you'll find seclusion, quiet and your own space. Some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever set foot on are in St John. It's the smallest of the U.S. Virgin Islands and 75% of it is designated state park. There are ample trails and paths. Years ago they brought in the mongoose with intention of turning the island rodent and snake free. Within two years, the mongoose population took...

Looking for that quiet island destination in the Caribbean?
October 21, 2010
Let me introduce you to Anguilla. It's very close to St Maarten and that works to your advantage. One can fly directly into Anguilla via San Juan. However, the air fares tend to lean on the expensive side when compared to other Caribbean destinations. However, fly into St Maarten; usually about 300-400 less, and take the short 20 minute ferry ride over to Anguilla. Your savings will go a long way for lodging or food/activities. Anguilla has one of the most beautiful beaches in the...
