Lobster anyone?

As they say back in my neck of the woods, lobstah. Traveling throughout New England, especially along the shore, lobster is plentiful and historically; some say; the best in the world. Nobody takes lobster more seriously then those from Maine, also known as Mainers. Every year in August they raise the bar and open their doors to the annual Lobster Fest. It's held in Rockland located about a 4 hour drive north of Boston and about 2 hours from Portland Maine. Held along the waterfront you'll find events like cooking contests, live bands, arts and crafts, the infamous lobster crate race, a parade that draws more then 25,000 fans and of course plenty of lobster, seafood and traditional fair food made with a Maine twist. It's a great family destination and event.
