Hi everyone, just read a very interesting article about money markets, exchange rates, and what the future might hold for the US dollar. The Euro is bouncing all around - one day it might be $1.23 and today it's $1.29. Since you are planning to take a trip to Europe in the next several months, or even next year, it makes sense to keep an eye on the exchange rate. Start buying and tucking away Euros for the trip on the days you see a great exchange rate. There are several businesses in the Portland area, including the airport, or talk to your banker or credit card company - see how they might be able to convert dollars into euros for you. The added benefit is having spending money stashed in advance to take the bite out the traveling expenses later.
