Designing Independent Trips to Europe

I find that the best trips to Europe are planned 4-6 months in advance. This give us plenty of time to find availability in those smaller favorite boutique hotels. Part of the prepartation is learning about the destination and reading my favorites guide book, Eye Witness Travel Guides.
