Lake of the Woods, Oregon

I just returned from a week long family camping trip to Lake of The Woods, Oregon. The Lake of The Woods Resort is just above Klamath Falls and is very beautiful. There are cabins of all sizes for those who need the comforts of home or you can bring your own comforts and stay in the RV park. Some of us did both and others pitched the tents in the campground. At the lake there is a store, a restaurant, a large outside eating area if you want to cook your own and a Marina. You can rent party boats, peddle boats and various water sports equipment. You can water ski, jet ski, kayak, canoe or fish on the lake and have a ton of fun. We took kayaks and canoes and spent most of the time on the water. One thing you need is bug spray, the mosquitoes were notorious!! So if you're looking for local fun spots to take the kids or have family meet up for some good ole' fashioned fun, try Lake of The Woods and don't forget the sun screen.
