Haneda (Another Tokyo International) Airport)

It is exciting to see Haneda Airport is going to be "reborn" in a few months! Unlike Narita Airport which has been Tokyo's International AP since 1978 replacing Haneda, it takes only 20-30 minutes from downtown Tokyo. Such a short cut, comparing to more than 2 hours of transfer time to Narita. The international terminal is well connected with Monorail from near Tokyo Station, and with KEIHIN (train) Line which opens accesses to both Tokyo/Yokohama and beyond. The interior of the terminal is a replica of Tokyo in Edo Era, where shops and restaurants are going to be. Some Airlines are offering deeply discounted fares to Europe to commemorate this event. Hopefully to US as well, as it gets closer....
