New Evening Kids Program on Carnival Ships

by Rebecca Bliefernich on May 03, 2011
It's now much easier to entertain the kids on a ship when you are sailing on a Carnival ship.   They have always offered baby-sitting services, and in June a new late-night children’s activity program starts fleet-wide.

Camp Carnival Night Owls offers supervised activities starting at 10 p.m. for three age groups.  The program was officially announced by Mark Tamis, senior vice president of guest operations, during a press meeting aboard the new Carnival Magic, which entered service May 1.

For age 2 to 11 years, the program operates until midnight and costs $13 per child with a 15 percent gratuity.   For parents who are out and about enjoying the many late night activities there are two more programs to keep the kids busy and supervised.  One until 1 a.m. for those age 6 to 8 years and cost $20 with a 15 percent tip. And for kids age 9 to 11 years old, the program continues to 3 a.m.   A nice feature is a personal escort  brings the child back to their staterooms.  That program costs $33 plus the 15 percent.  Participating children will also receive a gift backpack.

I think it's a great idea and well priced!
