Azumano Travel is pleased to introduce Azumano Alerts, powered by Flightstats.com. This is a service  designed to keep our customers informed of your flight status when you travel and to allow us to more effectively assist you when flight delays or cancellations affect your travel.

Here’s how it works. The next time you book a trip with us you will receive an electronic invitation to “opt-in”, or register, for Azumano Alerts. To register to receive the flight status alerts, click on the opt-in link to complete a short profile telling us how you wish to receive your alerts. Alerts may be received either by email or by SMS text message on most cell phones.  Please note that the opt-in  invitation will go to all parties who routinely receive copies of your itineraries.    If, for example, your travel arranger routinely receives your itinerary copies from our system, and he or she doesn’t wish to receive the flight status alerts, they may simply click the opt-out link and they should receive no further invitations to register nor will they receive the flight status alerts.  If you do not wish to receive alerts or future invitations to enroll in Azumano Alerts,  opting out will inhibit future invitations to enroll in the program.

Once registered, your reservations will be automatically monitored.   Each time you travel you will receive an electronic alert from us approximately 3 hours prior to your flight informing you of the status of your flight.  If your  flight operates as scheduled, no further alerts will be sent.   However, if your flight is delayed by more than 30 minutes, is cancelled or if a gate change occurs, you will receive additional alerts.

For delays that may result in missed connections or other disruptions to your trip, an automated “at-risk” trip alert will also be sent to the Azumano Travel Customer Care team.   This will allow us to work proactively during normal Azumano business hours to secure alternate arrangements on your behalf as you travel.
