Educational Programs
Azumano International introduced its first educational program in the summer of 1981, welcoming 150 Japanese High School students to Oregon for a short-term (one to two week) homestay experience. Since then, our educational program division has grown rapidly. In 1999, Azumano International began handling a 500-student school trip in Oregon for a Japanese high school, which continues on today and includes a few days in Seattle. In 2004, we extended the reach of our educational programs to include the Puget Sound and surrounding areas. Currently, Azumano International operates a variety of short-term programs throughout the year, as well as academic year and three month homestay programs in the Pacific Northwest. Azumano International became a CSIET-listed (Council on Standards For International Educational Travel) organization in 2002, expanding our reputation as a conductor of educational programs for foreign students wanting to experience American homestays. ![]() |
