About Azumano International Azumano International began as the inbound tour division of Azumano Travel in 1980. In the beginning, Azumano International was focused on promoting the state of Oregon by creating avenues for foreign travel targeting business trips and individual travel. By the mid-1980's, Azumano International's efforts at promoting travel to the state reached new levels. In 1984, Azumano International supervised all of the travel logistics and location arrangements for a Japanese television company filming a TV Drama located in Oregon during their 120-day shoot. By 1989 over 1,200 students annually participated in Azumano International home stay and educational tours in Oregon. Currently, Azumano International is an Official Travel Agency for the MLB Seattle Mariners and conducts tours throughout the Pacific Northwest, handling over 1,000 individual package tours a season for international customers. Azumano International's goal is to work with our individual and corporate groups to create a customized comprehensive tour package that meets each client's personal needs.
